Laurence Trim - Business Development Director

Laurence has spent most of his business life within the financial services sector, starting out as a development manager with Abbey National. Laurence subsequently worked with Ford Credit, Nissan, Nat West and Paragon, gaining valuable knowledge and experience in the retail finance and insurance sectors.

When the Churchill Insurance approached him, Laurence moved into the personal lines insurance industry as its Partnership Manager. Following the acquisition by Royal Bank of Scotland in 2003, Laurence - with an aversion to large corporation ethos - jumped at the chance of being part of the swiftcover.com start-up team.

For 'relaxation' Laurence spends his spare time in the French countryside converting a dilapidated farmhouse into a family home.
