Stephen Hardy - Finance Director

Steve has a strong track record in the UK insurance sector. He began his career at KMPG working with clients in the financial services and in 1993 he joined the FTSE250 composite insurance organisation, Refuge Assurance Group plc.

A move to Churchill Insurance as Group Finance Director gave Steve a key role in the company's acquisition strategy covering the purchase of the NIG and Inter Group companies and of the general insurance books of both the Pearl and Prudential. Steve was also involved in the RBS takeover of the Churchill Group and, at completion of the acquisition, took up the role of Director of Central Finance, RBS Insurance.

Whenever he can manage some time away from the business, Steve endures West Ham's endless struggle to recapture their glory days.
