Meet the Directors

Dave Fretter - Operations Director

Apart from a short period in the retail sector, Dave has spent his working life within the financial services arena. An early career in banking, with HFC Bank, afforded Dave valuable experience in branch management, regional and national sales, product development and staff training.

At Halifax Direct, Dave quickly moved into the position of Call Centre Manager where he had operational responsibility for the delivery of sales and servicing targets. In 1999 Dave joined the Churchill Group and became its Sales Director responsible for operational activity across the Group's call centres. When the Royal Bank of Scotland acquired Churchill in 2003 Dave, too, was quick to seize the opportunity to join the start-up team of swiftcover.com.

Dave enjoys watching football and playing the occasional game of squash or golf but spends most of his leisure time with his two children.
