swiftcover.com collects double accolades as the UK's best insurer

swiftcover.com has been named as the UK's 'Best Online Motor Insurance Provider' and the country's 'Most Trusted Motor Insurance Provider' in two different prestigious awards ceremonies.
The title of 'Best Online Motor Insurance Provider' was awarded to swiftcover.com by readers of Your Money magazine, whilst the title of 'Most Trusted Motor Insurance Provider' came following a nationwide poll of consumers by personal finance website Moneywise.
For the Your Money award, swiftcover.com was initially shortlisted based on price and service, with the final decision based on the experiences of a mystery shopper panel made up of the magazine's readers.
To win the title of Most Trusted Provider, over 10,000 Moneywise readers were polled and asked to rate financial services providers on a number of factors including website service, overall service and, crucially, whether they would be prepared to recommend swiftcover.com to other people.
Tina Shortle, marketing director of swiftcover.com, said: "We are delighted to have won these two important awards because they are honours voted for by our customers. It shows that not only does swiftcover.com provide the UK's cheapest motor insurance, we also give drivers an excellent level of service and the trust and confidence they demand from a motor insurer."
These are the third and fourth major accolades won by swiftcover.com this year. Comparison site moneysupermarket.com named swiftcover.com the UK's cheapest insurer after the company provided the lowest priced premiums on the site more often than any other insurer in 2008, whilst a Best Buys survey carried out by Which? found that swiftcover.com offered the cheapest price in 15 categories. Swiftcover is also the UK's fastest growing insurer, reaching a milestone of one million policies in May 2009.
