Citroën is a French automobile manufacturer, founded in 1919 by André Citroën. Since 1976 it has been part of PSA Peugeot Citroën, and its headquarters is on rue Fructidor, Paris. Originally a mass-market car maker with relatively straightforward designs, Citroën shocked the world in 1934 with the innovative Traction Avant, the world's first mass-production front wheel drive car. Significant models include the H Van (1947?81, "HY"), the 2CV (1948?90, "The Duck"), the DS (1955?1975, "Goddess") and the CX (1974?91).

Citroen Berlingo Multispace (03 - 08) Series 98
Citroen Berlingo Multispace (03 - 08). "People vans" are all the rage in Europe but they've never really caught on in the UK.
-
Citroen Berlingo Multispace Series 08
Citroen Berlingo Multispace. There's a steadily growing market for vehicles like the Berlingo, particularly as families are beginning to seek alternative options to the ever-thirsty SUV.
-
Citroen C1 Series 05
Citroen C1. There's lots to like about the Citroen C1.
-
Citroen C2 Series 03
Citroen C2. One of the more characterful of the current crop of city cars, the C2 combines distinctive design with a fairly painless driving experience - but basic versions lack much in the way of kit or performance.
-
Citroen C3 Picasso Series 09
Citroen C3 Picasso. It's not a huge surprise that one in four MPV's in Europe is a Citroen, especially when you consider that this, the C3 Picasso, is the sixth MPV in the French car maker's line up.
-
Citroen C3 Pluriel Series 03
Citroen C3 Pluriel. The Pluriel is one of those cars that must have seemed like a really good idea at the time it was first conceived.
-
Citroen C3 Series 02
Citroen C3. The C3 is a pretty disappointing car, but one that is brought back into contention by some of the most negotiable pricetags on the forecourt.
-
Citroen C3 Series 09
Citroen C3. Although the previous generation wasn't much to shout about, receiving a lukewarm reception from critics, the previous-generation Citroen C3 has still managed to sell 2m units since its launch in 2002.
-
Citroen C4 Picasso Series 06
Citroen C4 Picasso. Despite sharing its name with the existing Xsara Picasso, the new C4-based people-carrier isn't intended as a direct replacement for the current car.
-
Citroen C4 Series 05
Citroen C4. The C4 was meant to mark the point at which Citroen took on the rest of the family hatchback segment on equal terms, and there's certainly plenty to like about this well equipped, competitively priced car.
-
Citroen C5 (05 - 08) Series 01
Citroen C5 (05 - 08). Unless you're in the market for an uncomplaining minicab it's hard to make much of a case for the increasingly old-looking Citroen C5.
-
Citroen C5 Series 08
Citroen C5. Citroen, it seems is on a bit of a roll.
-
Citroen C6 Series 06
Citroen C6. You've got to give Citroen full marks for trying.
-
Citroen C8 Series 03
Citroen C8. Citroen's desire to take over the world via a tide of MPVs means that the C8 sits at the top of a vast range of people-carriers, and gives questionable extra value over the newer (and only slightly smaller) seven-seat version of the C4 Picasso
-
Citroen C-Crosser Series 07
Citroen C-Crosser. Citroen may have been first to bring us the disc brake, front wheel drive and hydropneumatic suspension but one thing this innovative brand has never managed to build is an SUV.
-
Citroen DS3 Series 10
Citroen DS3. If you're after a stylish and fashionable three-door hatchback, there are more models than ever to choose from.
-
Citroen Nemo Multispace Series 09
Citroen Nemo Multispace. If you think the Citroen Nemo Multispace looks familiar - and let's face it, it doesn't have a face you'd forget in a hurry - then it'll probably have something to do with the fact that it's a close relation of the equally quirky
-
Citroen Picasso Series 200
Citroen Picasso. Despite the arrival of the newer C4 Picasso, the older Xsara Picasso soldiers on as bargain basement family transport.
-
Citroen Saxo Series 96
Citroen Saxo. The Saxo's undeniable attraction is as one of the cheapest cars on offer in Britain today.
-
Citroen Xsara Series 97
Citroen Xsara. A completely unexciting prospect kept relevant by excellent standard equipment and pricing.
