MG Rover

MG Rover was the last mass-production car manufacturer in the Britain. The company was formed when BMW sold Rover Group assets to the Phoenix Consortium in 2000. MG Rover went into administration in 2005 and its key assets were purchased by Nanjing Automobile Group, which restarted MG sports car and saloon production in 2007. The Rover marque was sold by BMW to Ford which then sold it along with Jaguar Land Rover to Tata Motors (India) in 2008.
