Car Review: Nissan - Terrano IIĀ  Series 93 (2 stars)

Recommended. Terrano is an underrated four-wheel drive. It comes with a long list of standard equipment and the usual high level of Nissan reliability.

Nissan has updated the Terrano more times than it might care to remember but it's still good enough to give more expensive rivals a run for their money. While a new version is due out soon, the current II compensates by having a lengthy list of standard equipment - and all for reasonable prices. It's not quite as good on road as it could be but the Terrano feels well-built and made to last. The company's more trendy X-Trail doesn't have its off-road ability either. The 2.7 diesel is a best buy - the newer 3.0 is too thirsty and expensive.

Swiftcover has taken the pain out of getting cheap car insurance for Nissan Terrano drivers by offering 100% online motor insurance and quotes in under 60 seconds. There are no queues, no unnecessary chat and no endless questions.
