Dublin has a fantastic party vibe at the weekend and this is why it will remain a great option for tourists, it has been claimed,
something that may intrigue those who want travel insurance.
Authentic Travel Ireland noted that the city is "compact" and therefore most places are close to one another,
making matters easier for revellers.
On Fridays and Saturdays Dublin is similar to a "big block party", noted marketing director Ivan Lynch.
Apart from stag parties, there is a lot to see and do, he added, such as visiting trendy places including bars and other
new venues.
"The theatre has always been big in Dublin because of all the famous Irish playwrights, there's lots of theatres
in the city. It's great for music, again because it's a small size there's lots of bands playing here," Mr Lynch remarked.
In 2007, a total of 8,012 people travelled to Ireland, the Central Statistics Office has highlighted, a figure up from
the year before.
