Take control of your home insurance from the moment you buy it. You'll manage your insurance online, at your convenience and from the comfort of home (or desk, or café, or beach).

Accessing your policy documents

From the minute you become a customer, you'll have secure access to your policy documents online from any computer, anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day. You'll be able to:

  • view or print your policy documents online
  • check your cover – your personalised policy wording will only include the cover you've bought

If you'd like us to post your policy documents to you we can, but we may ask you to pay a £30 admin charge.

Making changes to your policy

Life doesn't stand still, and neither should your home insurance. If you buy a new bike or one of the 'kids' returns from University, have a look at your personalised policy wording and check that your cover still provides everything you need.

You have complete flexibility to re-design your policy online at your own convenience – free of charge. You can:

  • add or remove optional cover/s
  • change the level/s of cover
  • change your personal details (e.g. email address, payment details, home address).

If you'd prefer not to make changes or corrections to your policy yourself, we can make them for you, but we may ask you to pay an admin charge up to £30. If you need us to make several changes at once, there will only be one admin charge.

Cancellations

If you change your mind, you can cancel your policy within 14 days of the start date and receive a full refund (as long as you haven't made a claim) less a £15 admin fee.

If you cancel your policy after 14 days you will receive a pro-rata refund less a £25 admin fee.

Renewals

Renewing your policy is even easier than getting a quote. You'll receive an email reminder 25 days before your renewal date. This gives you a chance to review your optional extras and make sure you still have the cover you need for the coming year.

If you're happy with what you've got, then your work is done. Your policy will renew automatically. If you want to change your policy, you can add or remove cover options and renew online.
