In an accident? Follow these tips to make sure you’re safe and ready to make a claim.

  1. Stop at the roadside if a person, animal, vehicle or property has been injured
  2. Ensure everyone involved is safe and call 999 if you need to do so
  3. Get details of any other drivers involved if you can: their name, address, telephone number, insurance company and vehicle registration
  4. Don’t admit responsibility straight away. Call us and we’ll take care of the claim for you, as well as investigating who was responsible
  5. Tell us about the accident as soon as you can, even if you don’t want to make a claim
