Three levels of breakdown cover
When you buy van insurance with AXA, you'll get a choice of three levels of breakdown cover. You can opt for such extras as doorstep repairs, different levels of onward travel and overnight accommodation.
With AXA Roadside, if your van breaks down more than one mile from your home, we'll provide assistance to repair it at the roadside. If it can't be repaired at the roadside, you and up to four passengers will be taken to the nearest garage, normally within a 15-mile radius.
The next level up is AXA Rescue, which includes all the benefits of AXA Roadside, and more. If your van can't be repaired on the same day, we'll arrange for you and up to four passengers to be taken home or to your original destination. Or if you'd prefer, we can provide overnight accommodation or alternative transport for 24 hours.
Finally, our most extensive cover option is AXA Rescue & Home Start. It includes all the benefits of AXA Roadside and AXA Rescue, as well as assistance at, or within a mile of, your home address. If your van breaks down we'll arrange for it to be repaired at your home, by the roadside or taken to a local garage, normally within a 15-mile radius, where you'll be responsible for the cost of repairs.
