What is Home Assistance?
From blocked drains, to burst pipes and broken boilers, anything can happen at home. But with Swiftcover Home Assistance, you’ll be protected if the worst happens.
You’ll be covered up to £1,000 per claim for call outs, work, and parts. Plus, if you need to make a claim, there's no excess to pay.
What does Home Assistance cover?
Swiftcover Home Assistance covers you for emergency repairs around your home.
- Drainage – blocked sinks, blocked or leaking waste pipes and rainwater drains within your property boundary.
- Electrics inside your home that aren’t working, meaning you can’t stay in your home.
- Repairing broken or cracked windows that make your home insecure. We’ll board up the window to make sure your home is safe.
- If you lose your keys, we’ll help you get back into your home. You’re also covered if you accidentally lock your keys inside, and don’t have another set to get in.
- Pest and insect infestations – we'll cover the removal of pests from your home if it’s been infested. By pests, we mean, rats, mice, wasps or hornets.
- Repair leaking gas pipes from the internal gas supply in your home between the meter and a gas appliance.
- Repair broken boilers, heating systems or hot water systems if you’ll be left without any heating and/or hot water.

Who can add Home Assistance to their cover?
Home Assistance is an optional extra for Swiftcover Home Insurance customers.
If you’re a Swiftcover Plus Home Insurance customer, Home Assistance is already included with your policy.
